Loose tops and outerwear. Tight biker shorts and leggings. Barely there tanks and mesh tops.
Take your pick, mix it up, and try not to melt.

SOMETHING CLOSE TO MY HEART
This is one of my all time favorite editorials. Steven Klein + Balenciaga shoes + bright hair + wolf like dogs + suburbia = thank youuu. Unfortunately I wasn't subscribed to W when this came out, I saw it first in the International Center of Photography which happened to be the location of a presentation I went to during Fashion Week in February 2009. The clothing in the presentation was alright, but I was happier studying the editorials plastered on every wall while having wine and hors d'oeuvres.
This suburban landscape in development is a lot like my neighborhood here in Tennessee. Obviously I prefer Brooklyn, but there's something very strange and alluring about suburbia. When my neighborhood was still in development I'd ride my bike down to the completely empty division where the houses were empty shells and the fields were cleared away leaving nothing but mounds of dirt. The street was paved and the division was like a wasteland. I felt like I was in a post apocalyptic world, all by myself sitting on a curb with a cigarette. It was perfect.

REALITY SHOW
I try not to post editorials that I know everyone has already seen, but this is one of my all time faves.

FEATURED ON
"Androgynous Pratt student documents his outfits that run the gamut from everyday college kid to flamboyant club kid. Anyone who throws on a pair of Balenciaga platforms or 9" fetish stilettos to cheer himself up is pretty awesome and entertaining in our opinion!"
TOPSHOP INSIDE-OUT BLOG
"Dressing up is what William loves to do most. This young designer from New York doesn’t dress for fashion but just to have fun and enjoy himself like the big kid that he is. Both adorned as a man and woman, his blog isn’t your common “check-out-my-outfit” type blog. It’s a journey into NYC’s crazy nightlife with party outfits straight from the young creative/transvestite scene. Juggling Timberland homemade platforms, tie-dye t-shirts, camo baggy trousers and an orange furry jacket, his looks are absolutely bonkers-awesom, leaving us wanting more everytime. We strongly recommend that you check out his collection too . Made from Japanese anime babe-printed fabric, it’s pretty darn cool."
LYNN & HORST"I strongly believe in the comeback of Manga and will further explore its use in contemporary art and fashion. Most probably, 'sexualization' will become a core motif. In the first instance, I'd like to draw your attention to the reanimation of Anime by Dripping Lazers."
