What I wore at work yesterday, and then late night window shopping at United Nude.  Found this shirt for $7... I love knowing how old it is (signed 1981) and speculating what the person who painted it was like.

Two things! I just finished this jacket I was supposed to make for someone months ago. The fabric sat in a bag in my closet untouched until I had an opportunity to sew at my aunt's house using my great grandmother's sewing machine over the holiday.  The print was inverted for this piece, and I cut the sleeves shorter since the client is petite.  Also exciting - you can now buy a tee with my original flesh tone print.

You can find the tee for sale HERE and the original pieces from my senior collection HERE.

Today I had the brilliant idea to take an actual camera to work to take photos instead of my phone.  Actually, I can't say I haven't thought about doing it in the past, I just never have because it seems somehow wrong even though I wait till I've closed up shop to take any shots.  Granted I see people posting mobile uploads on facebook while they're at work all the time, but I try not to be one of those people.  I try.

Here you can see what I wore to and from work in addition to what I wore while working.  I work eight to nine hours each shift so I always bring a change of shoes with me.  I bought this camo jacket at the beginning of fall and have worn it a thousand times since, but never actually shared it on here.  I'm wearing camo jeans here, too - and the jacket is cute with standard green camo fatigues, as well.  If I pick up a camo tee I'll definitely wear it all at once, too - and the same goes for leopard now that I have these boots.  It's only natural leopard and camouflage work well together considering leopard is simply a biological camouflage (like most animals' coloring).  That's all!

Got these boots probably two months ago but never got around to wearing them since I kept, um, buying more shoes - because I will always wear a new pair of LD Tuttle or Acne boots before DV.  Naturally.  That being said, these are super comfortable, and I love them.

"Androgynous Pratt student documents his outfits that run the gamut from everyday college kid to flamboyant club kid. Anyone who throws on a pair of Balenciaga platforms or 9" fetish stilettos to cheer himself up is pretty awesome and entertaining in our opinion!"

"Dressing up is what William loves to do most. This young designer from New York doesn’t dress for fashion but just to have fun and enjoy himself like the big kid that he is. Both adorned as a man and woman, his blog isn’t your common “check-out-my-outfit” type blog. It’s a journey into NYC’s crazy nightlife with party outfits straight from the young creative/transvestite scene. Juggling Timberland homemade platforms, tie-dye t-shirts, camo baggy trousers and an orange furry jacket, his looks are absolutely bonkers-awesom, leaving us wanting more everytime. We strongly recommend that you check out his collection too . Made from Japanese anime babe-printed fabric, it’s pretty darn cool."

"I strongly believe in the comeback of Manga and will further explore its use in contemporary art and fashion. Most probably, 'sexualization' will become a core motif. In the first instance, I'd like to draw your attention to the reanimation of Anime by Dripping Lazers."
